Membership

 

Tailwinds was established in 1970 and has continually upgraded its airplanes and hanger facilities at Lake Elmo, MN (21D).   Our philosophy is to fly great airplanes as inexpensively as possible.

 

About once a month during the summer months, our members get together and wash and wax the airplanes to keep them looking their best.

 

We also meet (many times in conjunction with the plane wash) to conduct safety sessions throughout the year to keep our knowledge and skills up-to-date.
